KONE Elevator Load Weighing Adjustment Method (Quick Guide)

Struggling with inaccurate load signals during commissioning? Here’s a practical setup reference for KONE systems:

Key Steps:

• Ensure mechanical installation is completed before electrical adjustment
• Connect 1WD interface and replace temporary plug
• Empty car: adjust 1WDE (offset) → display ~0% load
• Empty car: adjust 1WDF (gain) → display ~50% load
• Half load: fine-tune offset again to stabilize balance

Fine Adjustment:

• No load → set signal ≈ 1.0V (Menu 5-1 = 00)
• 50% load → set ≈ 2.5V (Menu 5-1 = 50)
• Remove 1WD plug → verify display < -15%
• If deviation is too large → adjust sensor distance and recalibrate

Note:

Always consider both car load and counterweight balance during adjustment.
